I was delighted when I saw HD has issued a set of 4 movies into this Best of HD DVD - Action and I at last decided to buy it, although with difficulty as one of them been bought earlier. However, all of them are superb with picture quality especially Troy which I like most, particularly the battle scene was very cleared and the sound is well mixed and dimensional.

Despite the above comment on movie review, I have the chance to play both HD and Blu-ray discs, I think blu-ray has done it better in term of picture and sound. I would be glad if HD would improve in the long run.

Value is the angle I come from on this item. Picture quality and sound--providing your unit has been updated--is outstandining. For $15 a movie you can't ask for more. Unfortunately this is due to the demise of the HD format. Enjoy a great deal and remember the beta and laser disc follies of the past, when you debate shelling out $40 for the new blue ray disc in your basket.
