BUYER BEWARE.FAMILY GUY VOLUME 7 IS NOT SEASON 7.IN FACT THE FIRST 4 EPISODES ARE FROM SEASON 6. ALSO THE LAST EPISODE ON VOLUME 7 IS “THE JUICE IS ON THE LOOSE”,THERE ARE 7 MORE EPISODES OF SEASON 7 THAT DO NOT APPEAR ON THIS DISC.BECAUSE OF THE WRITERS STRIKE SEVERAL YEARS AGO ,THE FAMILY GUY DVD RELEASES BECAME OUT OF SYNC. WITH THEIR SEASON ENDING PRODUCTION IN THE MIDDLE ,THEY RELEASED WHAT HAD BEEN PRODUCED THUS FAR AS A VOLUME.STARTING THE WHOLE CONFUSING SAGA OF VOLUMES CONTAINING THE REMAINDER OF ONE SEASON AND THE FIRST HALF OF THE NEXT.I BOUGHT THIS DISC,VOL 7 , ON MAY 3 2009. AT THAT TIME IT WAS THE NEXT SEQUENTIAL DISC IN THE DVD RELEASE.THEN 20TH CENTURY FOX ONE MONTH LATER ACTUALLY RELEASED THE ENTIRE SEASON 7 ON DVD. SO I WASTED MY $19.99 AS I HAD TO REPURCHASE SEASON 7 TO GET THE LAST 7 EPISODES THAT WERE NOT INCLUDED IN VOLUME 7.IT IS QUITE CONFUSING BUT IF YOU ARE READING THIS AS A FAMILY GUY COLLECTOR YOU WILL BE SPARED ALOT OF ANGUISH.FAMILY GUY SEASONS CONTAIN 16 EPISODES.MY ADVICE IS TO WAIT FOR THE SEASON TO COMPLETELY AIR ON THE NETWORK,FIND A COMPLETE EPISODE GUIDE ON THE INTERNET,AND MAKE SURE THE DVDS YOU PURCHASE CONTAIN THE CORRECT EPISODES THAT CORRESPOND TO THE CORRECT SESON.ALSO BEWARE OF A NEW SNAFU.AMAZON IS ADVERTISING SEASON 8 DVD AVAILABLE NOW.DO NOT BUY THIS AS IT DOES NOT CONTAIN THE COMPLETE SEASON 8.HOW CAN IT.SEASON 8 HAS NOT EVEN COMPLETELY AIRED YET.THERE ARE STILL 6 EPISODES LEFT TO AIR AS OF THIS DATE 1/12/10. WAIT UNTIL FOX HAS AIRED THE REMAINING 6 EPISODES AND BUY SEASON 8 WHEN THE DVD CONTAINS THE CORRECT 16 SHOWS.I HAVE BROUGHT THIS UP TO AMAZON AND THEY ARE NOT TOO CONCERNED ABOUT IT.THEIR DEFENSE IS THAT THEY NEVER TELL YOU IT IS THE COMPLETE SEASON 8.IF WE ARE DUMB ENOUGH TO BUY SEASON 8 IN MID PRODUCTION THEN THEY WILL GLADY TAKE OUR MONEY.I THINK IT IS DECEPTIVE MARKETING AND WOULD HAVE PREVIOUSLY HELD AMAZON TO A HIGHER STANDARD.THE BOTTOM LINE IS THEY WANT OUR MONEY AND WILL TAKE IT ANYWAY THEY CAN

Okay I didn’t buy it from Amazon but that’s not the point, I saw the pic , saw it was 13.99 an said to myself “sold!”. well I shouldn’t have, when i got it the picture on the actual case didn’t match the one on the website and it was in a regular dvd case.( it had a horse and lincoln on the front not the usual family guy picture) no way can three discs be in here. So , i went to Amazon to check out reviews(cause Amazon peeps review the best). So, I found out that Seth Macfarland pretty much went cheapy on the season or volume …whatever it is and jipped us, the viewers, his meal ticket, with this one. I just wish they would advertise it with the right cover and tell us exactly what i’m buying. thank god it was cheap!
